Collectable Barbie Doll

Car Boot Sale Advice Please?
Hi, I am doing a car boot sale this sunday and I have never been to one and don’t have time to look this week and go another time. How much should I ask for CDs, Dvds, paperback and hardback books, porcelain dolls, boxed collectable barbie dolls, ty bears, teddies, moses basket and other bits and bobs all of my items are in excellent condition or brand new, any ideas on some prices?
Thanks
You might find yourself disappointed if you didn’t go out and at least visit a car boot sale first.
People go to these things looking for bargains so the prices that are no doubt in your head just now might be a lot higher than people are willing to pay. You should have checked out the going rates first.
Another thing is, will you definitely get a space? Some of the more popular boot sales are booked up in advance.
My sister does a lot of these to clear out her daughter’s old toys. My pals did a couple too, selling furniture.
The main question is – are you doing it to clear out your house and also go home with some spending money? or are you doing it to make money?
Sorry I’ve not really answered your question with prices, but you should have found out the going rates for your area. I’ve bought paperbacks at car boots for 25p and hardbacks for £1. We sold toys for £3 up to about £5. I’d expect to pay about 50p for a CD.
